    This is a Travel position. You must live more than 30 miles from the facility to be considered for this position.

    Description:

    ICU Registered Nurse - Day Shift (Travel Contract) Contract Details
    • 13-week travel contract
    • Shift: Days, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (11.5-hour shifts)
    • Minimum of 34.5 hours guaranteed — no overtime
    • Must work every other weekend (EOW) and holidays
    • Float: Med/Surg
    Location

    Required Certifications
    • AHA BLS (BCLS)
    • ACLS
    • PALS (can be provided post-offer)
    • De-escalation Certification required
    Preferred Certifications
    • CCRN
    • TNCC
    Education & Licensure
    • BSN or higher degree from an accredited nursing school
    • Active RN license to practice in New York State or by reciprocity
    Experience Requirements
    • Minimum 3 years of ICU experience required
    • Must have experience with EPIC EMR
    Clinical Skills & Responsibilities
    • Proficient in managing patients with EVD and multiple medication drips
    • Proficient in use of Hemosphere Flotrac
    • Proficient in managing trauma patients of varying severities
    • Ability to perform assessments using CAM, CPOT, and RASS scoring tools
    • Proficient in the care of patients undergoing hypothermia treatment
    • Familiar with pleurevac chest tube drainage care
    • Familiar with the use of PCA pumps
    • Must observe strict isolation precautions, including hand washing and gel in/gel out protocol
    • Must follow established SOPs and critical care practices of the facility
