    Description:

    ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift | 13-Week Travel AssignmentShift Details
    • Schedule: Nights — 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (3x11.5-hour shifts)
    • Duration: 13 weeks
    • Minimum of 34.5 hours guaranteed per week
    • Every other weekend (EOW) and holidays as needed
    • Facility pays regular rate for overtime and holiday hours
    • Float requirement: Nurses will be required to float to the SICU and IMCU
    • Scrubs: Royal Blue
    Education Requirements
    • BSN or higher degree from an accredited nursing school
    Licensure
    • RN License to practice in New York State or by reciprocity
    Experience
    • 3 or more years of ICU experience is a plus
    • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience
    Required Certifications
    • AHA BLS (BCLS)
    • ACLS
    • PALS
    • De-escalation Certification
    Preferred Certifications (Not Required)
    • CCRN
    • TNCC
    Clinical Skills & Competencies
    • Proficient in managing patients with EVD (External Ventricular Drain)
    • Proficient in managing multiple medication drips
    • Proficient in the use of Hemosphere Flotrac
    • Proficient in managing trauma patients of varying severities
    • Able to perform assessments using CAM, CPOT, and RASS
    • Proficient in the care of patients undergoing hypothermia treatment
    • Familiar with the care of pleurevac chest tube drainage
    • Familiar with the use of Allscripts EMR
    • Familiar with the use of PCA pump
    Infection Control & Safety
    • Must observe strict isolation precautions
    • Must adhere to hand washing protocols — gel in and gel out
    • Must follow established SOPs and critical care practices
