    Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | Expected 36 hours/week | Every Other Weekend | Every Other Holiday

    Key Responsibilities
    • Deliver comprehensive nursing care in a multi-specialty ICU setting, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients
    • Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, patients, and their families
    • Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues
    • Update and manage patient records accurately and in a timely manner
    • Enter and interpret computerized data and information within the electronic health system
    • Assist the leadership team with quality improvement projects as needed
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum 2 years of RN ICU experience
    • Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN, or BSN
    • Active Massachusetts (MA) RN License required
    • BLS certification required
    • ACLS certification required
    • Telemetry experience required; must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips
    • Basic computer proficiency and effective verbal and written communication skills
    • Candidates residing less than 50 miles from the facility will be classified under a local rate structure
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • BSN degree preferred
    • Experience in a multi-specialty or high-acuity ICU environment
    • Familiarity with quality improvement initiatives in a clinical setting
