    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Projected Start: July 27, 2026

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care across a 30-bed acute care unit utilizing a Team-Based Care model, supporting patients ranging from Med-Surg to ICU-level acuity
    • Perform and assist with procedures including IV starts, central venous line (CVL) and arterial line management, Foley catheter insertion, EKG monitoring, and wound care
    • Operate and manage unit equipment including IV pumps, SCDs, Nova Stat glucometer, wound vac, Baxter feeding pump, and lift equipment as appropriate
    • Document patient care and assessments accurately using Cerner EMR
    • Participate in daily interdisciplinary team meetings with MDs, case management, pharmacy, and PT/OT to coordinate patient care, treatment plans, and discharge needs
    • Adhere to weekend rotation schedule (3 Mondays and Fridays per 6-week scheduling period) and holiday staffing matrix; float to TCU as needed
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
    • BLS certification required prior to start
    • ACLS certification required (must be completed prior to end of orientation)
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment managing multiple levels of patient acuity
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • ICU or stepdown/PCU experience strongly preferred; candidates with this background will be given priority consideration
    • Minimum 1 year of Med-Surg experience preferred
    • Familiarity with Cerner EMR and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
