    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 36 Hours per Week | Projected Start: 08/31/2026

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a 16-bed ICU/CCU setting with a 2:1 patient ratio (occasionally 3:1)
    • Operate and monitor advanced equipment including Impella, GE monitors, Temporary Pacemakers, EKOS, IABP, Artic Sun, and hemodynamic monitoring devices
    • Assist with and support procedures including central line insertions and dialysis catheter insertions
    • Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
    • Float in rotation with core staffing as needed per unit floating policy
    • Demonstrate critical thinking and self-motivation in a fast-paced critical care environment
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license valid in Kentucky (or compact state eligibility)
    • Minimum 2 years of ICU/CCU experience required
    • BLS certification required
    • ACLS certification required
    • NIH Stroke Scale certification required
    • Proficiency with Meditech or comparable electronic health record system
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with Impella, IABP, EKOS, or Artic Sun devices
    • PALS certification
    • Experience with hemodynamic monitoring in a critical care setting
    • Familiarity with central line and dialysis catheter insertion support procedures
