Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in a Surgical Intensive Care Unit setting
- Manage and monitor patients requiring mechanical ventilation
- Titrate vasoactive and sedative medications per protocol
- Maintain and monitor central lines and arterial lines
- Perform complex wound and drain management
- Accurately document patient care and clinical data using EPIC
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Massachusetts
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in mechanical ventilation management
- Experience with titration of vasoactive and sedative medications
- Skilled in central line and arterial line care
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a Surgical ICU (SICU) environment
- Background in complex wound care and surgical drain management
