    Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

    Location

    Brighton, MA

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 12-hour shifts, Day/Night Rotation (7:00 AM–7:30 PM and 7:00 PM–7:30 AM) | Every other weekend and every other holiday required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Deliver comprehensive nursing care in a multi-specialty ICU setting, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients
    • Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, patients, and their families
    • Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and manage computerized data entry and interpretation
    • Adhere to nursing department guidelines, policies, and established protocols
    • Support the leadership team with quality improvement projects as needed
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in an ICU setting with multispecialty exposure (CCU, SICU, MICU, Neuro, or CT ICU)
    • Active Massachusetts RN License
    • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
    • NIHSS certification required
    • Telemetry experience required; must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips
    • Basic computer proficiency and effective verbal and written communication skills
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • BSN degree preferred; Diploma or ASN also considered
    • Experience floating to Med/Surg units
