Registered Nurse – ICU (Medical ICU)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 8-Week Assignment | 12-Hour Rotating Days/Nights | Expected 72 hours biweekly (on-call hours not included)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical ICU setting within a high-acuity environment
- Monitor, assess, and respond to critically ill patients requiring intensive nursing intervention
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, manage IV lines, and operate advanced monitoring equipment
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
- Practice within a Level 1 Trauma center environment, adhering to all associated protocols and standards of care
Required Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts (MA) Registered Nurse license required
- CPR certification through AHA required
- ACLS certification through AHA required
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
- Level 1 Trauma experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU or critical care setting
- Familiarity with Medical ICU workflows and high-acuity patient populations
- Experience with complex hemodynamic monitoring and critical care interventions
