Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to a variety of surgical patients in an 8-bed SICU, including transplant, hepatobiliary, and general surgery populations
• Manage patient assignments at ratios of 1:1-1:3 depending on acuity
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-acuity surgical and trauma care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• CPR - AHA certification required
• ACLS certification required
• SICU experience required
• Trauma / Level 1 Trauma experience required
• Minimum 2-3 years of related work experience
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible - local travelers will not be accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with transplant or hepatobiliary surgical patient populations
• Familiarity with high-acuity, fast-paced SICU environments
