Burns / Surgical ICU Registered Nurse

Contract | Rotating Days/Nights | Expected 36 hours/week | Includes weekends and holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Burns and Surgical ICU environment
- Monitor and manage critically ill patients, including burn injury cases requiring specialized nursing interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with facility protocols
- Adapt to rotating day and night shifts, including weekends and holidays, to ensure continuous patient coverage
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be valid and in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
- Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
- BLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in burn care or surgical critical care nursing
- Familiarity with complex wound management and burn-specific treatment protocols
- Experience working in high-volume, Level I Trauma or academic medical center settings
