Contract | Night Shift, 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Expected 36 Hours/Week | Every Other Weekend | Every Other Holiday
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a critical care unit with a strong cardiac focus and occasional MICU overflow patients
- Independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips; telemetry competency assessment required on Day 1
- Manage patient assignments at a 1:2 or 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio within a 17-bed unit
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver safe, high-quality critical care
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition in a fast-paced ICU environment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts or compact eligibility
- Minimum 2 years of critical care (ICU) experience
- Demonstrated ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will be placed at a local rate
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with EPIC electronic health records
- CCRN certification
- Background in cardiac critical care or cardiology nursing
