    TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Boise, Idaho, 83712!

    Job Title

    Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU

    Location

    Boise, ID | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every other weekend required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a combined SICU/MICU setting (32 total beds) with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1 and 1:2
    • Care for a diverse ICU patient population including CABG, CVA, subarachnoid hemorrhage, intracerebral hemorrhage, GI bleeds, DKA, STEMI, septic shock, overdose, respiratory failure, and neuro/open-heart surgery patients
    • Titrate vasoactive and critical drips including dopamine, epinephrine, norepinephrine, cardene, nitroglycerin, neo, vasopressin, diltiazem, insulin, and esmolol
    • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms independently using Spacelabs monitoring system
    • Collaborate with in-house hospitalists, intensivists, respiratory therapy (staffed 24/7), and CNAs to deliver comprehensive patient care
    • Float as needed to other ICU locations within the valley system and may occasionally serve as a 1:1 sitter outside of the ICU
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license
    • BLS certification required
    • ACLS certification required
    • NIHSS certification required
    • Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
    • Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in a similarly sized or larger ICU and hospital environment
    • Familiarity with CRRT, ECMO, or intra-aortic balloon pump (experience not required; exposure will not be provided)
    • Comfort with self-scheduling and flexibility to meet unit staffing needs
