    Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 hours guaranteed per week | 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct nursing care to post cardiac surgery patients in an 11-bed cardiovascular surgery unit
    • Maintain a patient ratio of 4:1, delivering safe and compassionate care throughout each shift
    • Utilize GE monitoring equipment and document patient care using Cerner EMR
    • Float to other ICUs and, at times, med/surg units as needed
    • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient recovery following cardiac and cardiovascular surgical procedures
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN licensure (or compact eligibility)
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiac or cardiovascular surgery nursing
    • Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
    • Current ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
    • Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification (American Heart Association)
    • Hands-on experience with cardiac/cardiovascular surgery patient populations
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Broad cardiac nursing background beyond CV surgery
    • Outgoing, team-oriented personality with strong interpersonal communication skills
    • Familiarity with Cerner EMR and GE monitoring systems
