Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts (19:00-07:30) | Every Other Weekend plus additional weekends based on unit need
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting with a high volume of neurological cases; nurses must be comfortable and proficient with neuro patient populations
- Participate in on-call coverage as needed based on unit requirements
- Float to other units within scope of practice, and potentially to additional campuses, based on census and staffing need; travelers can expect notice approximately 1.5 hours prior to shift start when floating is requested
- Complete required facility modules via e-learning as part of onboarding and orientation
Required Qualifications- Active California RN License (must be uploaded to Nursys within the last 2 weeks with valid CA state license)
- BLS certification (AHA or ARC only)
- ACLS certification (AHA or ARC only)
- Minimum 3 years of RN ICU experience
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates may be considered at a local rate
- Must provide accurate 7-year work history; documentation or contacts for verification may be required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience caring for neurological ICU patients
- Prior travel nursing experience with demonstrated flexibility across units or campuses
