    Contract (20 Weeks) | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00) | Every 3rd Weekend | No On-Call

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting managing complex diagnoses including stroke, renal failure with CRRT, MI with IABP, respiratory failure, pneumonia, post cardiac arrest, DKA, and surgical ICU cases
    • Operate and monitor specialized equipment including CRRT cart, Rotoprone, temporary pacer cart, central line cart, universal critical airway cart, chest tube cart, bronch cart, chemo cart, and Malignant Hyperthermia cart
    • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using EPIC
    • Float within specialty and acuity as required — travelers are expected to float first with no restrictions
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver high-acuity critical care
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license in Maryland or a Compact state (must be active at time of submission)
    • ACLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
    • BLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
    • NIHSS certification required
    • Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
    • Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — locals under 50 miles are not accepted unless otherwise specified
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with CRRT, IABP, and Rotoprone therapy
    • Familiarity with high-acuity surgical and medical ICU patient populations
    • CPI certification (Calm Every Storm online version is the currently accepted online vendor)
