Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting managing complex diagnoses including stroke, renal failure with CRRT, MI with IABP, respiratory failure, pneumonia, post cardiac arrest, DKA, and surgical ICU cases. Operate and monitor specialized equipment including CRRT carts, central line carts, universal critical airway carts, chest tube carts, temporary pacer carts, bronch carts, chemo carts, and Malignant Hyperthermia carts.

Utilize ceiling lifts and emergency equipment in accordance with facility protocols
Document all patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
Float within specialty and acuity level as required; travelers are first to float
Required Qualifications
Active RN license in Maryland or a valid Compact State license at time of submission
Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
Current ACLS certification (AHA only)
Current BLS certification (AHA only)
Current NIHSS certification
Proficiency with EPIC charting system
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with CRRT, IABP, Rotoprone, and other advanced ICU modalities
CPI certification (Calm Every Storm online version accepted)
