Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ICU Overflow)

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Nights – 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department overflow area
- Manage and monitor ICU-level patients within the ED overflow setting
- Perform neurological assessments utilizing NIHSS protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective patient care
- Respond to rapidly changing patient conditions in a fast-paced environment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Combined experience in both ICU and Emergency Department settings
