    Travel RN – Neuroscience ICU (NSICU)

    Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a 12-bed Neuroscience ICU at a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
    • Care for neurology patients post-thrombectomy and post-TPA administration
    • Manage post-neurosurgery patients and monitor neurological status
    • Perform and assist with unit-level procedures including CRRT, bedside EVD management, and A-line monitoring
    • Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic health record system
    • Participate in self-scheduling while meeting unit weekend shift requirements (6 weekend shifts per scheduling period)
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
    • Current ACLS certification
    • Current BLS certification
    • NIHSS certification
    • Proficiency with Baxter infusion pumps and Cerner documentation system
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience in a neurology or neuroscience ICU setting
    • Experience with CRRT, external ventricular drains (EVDs), and arterial line monitoring
    • Ability and willingness to float to other ICUs or step-down units per facility floating policy
