Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU/MSICU) setting, managing assignments based on patient acuity and nursing skill set. Operate and monitor advanced ICU equipment including ventilators, NXStage dialysis machines, Arctic Sun temperature management systems, and GE Cardiac Output monitors.

Operate and monitor advanced ICU equipment including ventilators, NXStage dialysis machines, Arctic Sun temperature management systems, and GE Cardiac Output monitors
Assist with and support bedside procedures including central line placements, thoracentesis, dialysis catheter placements, cardioversions, and intubations
Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using the Meditech electronic documentation system
Float to other units as needed per facility policy
Required Qualifications
Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas (temporary licenses not accepted)
Minimum 2 years of hospital-based ICU experience (MICU or MSICU)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with Meditech electronic health record documentation system
CCRN certification or active pursuit of certification
