Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Full-Time (36–48 hours per week available)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Neurological and Surgical ICU setting, managing complex and critically ill patients
- Care for trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU patients in a Level One Trauma Center environment
- Utilize Epic EMR for accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, applying critical care nursing judgment and interventions
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of New York
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU staff experience encompassing trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU patients
- Level One Trauma Center experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Must be available to complete a competency test within 24 hours of submission
- Candidates residing in ineligible local counties are not being considered for this position
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience floating to additional critical care or specialty units
- Familiarity with navy blue scrub dress code requirements in a hospital setting
- Strong adaptability and ability to quickly integrate into a high-acuity team environment
