Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Neurological and Surgical Intensive Care Unit setting
- Manage and monitor critically ill patients including trauma, surgical, and neurological cases
- Utilize Epic EMR system for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Adhere to facility dress code and unit-specific protocols throughout the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of New York
- Minimum 2 years of ICU staff experience specifically involving trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU patients
- Trauma Level One facility experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR is required
- Must be able to complete a competency test within 24 hours of submission
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience managing complex, high-acuity neurological and surgical ICU patient populations
- Familiarity with large academic medical center environments
