Travel RN – Critical Care Float Pool

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Expected 48 hours/week available
Key Responsibilities
- Float across multiple critical care environments including Neuro/Trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, and Progressive Critical Care Unit (PCCU)
- Provide competent ICU-level care to patients in the ED and PACU awaiting bed placement
- Adapt quickly to varying patient populations and unit workflows within a high-acuity, Level I Trauma Center setting
- Utilize Epic EMR for all documentation and patient management
- Complete a required competency assessment within 24 hours of submission
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license (New York license required or in process)
- Minimum 2 years of ICU/critical care nursing experience
- Epic EMR experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Navy blue scrubs required
- Candidates must not reside in ineligible local counties — only travelers are being accepted at this time
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a Level I Trauma Center setting
- Demonstrated ability to float across multiple ICU specialties (Neuro, MICU, Cardiac, Vascular, Progressive Care)
- Comfort and clinical competency managing diverse, high-acuity critical care patient populations
