Job Opportunity – Critical Care (CCU) Registered Nurse – Kansas

Start Date: September 22, 2026

Location: Wichita, Kansas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 6-week assignment, 48 hours per week. This is a rapid response position with no RTO or special scheduling available. Flexible day and night shifts available.

Highlights:

  • 26-bed Coronary Care Unit with 1:2 patient ratios
  • Exposure to advanced cardiac procedures including balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia protocols, heart catheterizations, and cardioversion
  • Meditech EMR system
  • Work alongside an experienced team of 13 RNs per shift plus dedicated charge nurse and patient care technician
  • Opportunity to utilize and expand neuro ICU expertise in a fast-paced critical care environment
  • Peak period coverage supporting a large facility ICU

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year current hospital ICU experience (required)
  • Neuro ICU experience (required – non-negotiable)
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications (must be included in submission packet)
  • Competency Assessment Program Skills (CAPS) required after acceptance
  • Prior Meditech experience preferred
  • Previous travel experience in large facility ICU settings preferred
