Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 25 weeks Shift: Day and Night (3x12-Hour Shifts) Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 4 years recent ICU experience License: Active Registered Nurse License in California Certifications: BSN, ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Experience with ECMO, IABP, Impella, LVAD, CRRT, and PA Catheters - Strong interpersonal communication skills - Ability to float to different units and departments Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit. The Nurse will be responsible for caring for critically ill patients. Experience with advanced cardiovascular critical care populations is required. Candidates should have the ability to manage complex critical care patients independently. Prior experience with ECMO is essential, as care for ECMO patients will be a primary responsibility. Experience caring for patients with acute respiratory distress and multi-organ failures is required. Strong skills in managing various support devices such as ECMO, CRRT, and others are necessary.
