TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Seattle, Washington, 98104!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of critical care experience required License: Compact license accepted Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required; TNCC preferred but not required Must-Have: - Experience in high volume, high acuity, teaching and trauma facilities - Prior travel experience - No prior travel pairs - Prepared to float to other ICUs and border areas Description: The Registered Nurse will care for ICU patients with a focus on cardiology. This position involves managing cardiac ICU patients as well as overflow from medical, trauma, and neuro ICUs. The nurse will work in a setting with a patient ratio of 1:2. Weekend availability is required every other weekend, with flexibility for unit needs. Relevant certifications such as ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are mandatory. No on-call requirements for this position. Nurses should be prepared for floating to other departments as needed. The unit consists of adults and geriatric patient populations. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and more. Candidates must have proficiency in Epic charting. Training modules must be completed prior to the start date. The facility has a daily census of around 16 patients. Special procedures and patient diagnoses include cardiology-critical care. Travel experience is a requirement for this role. References from direct supervisors are mandatory for consideration.
