Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $3,165 per week in Newark, NY

Clinical skills including arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care, continuous IV sedation and paralytics, vasoactive and cardiac drip titration, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and procedural sedation monitoring. Schedule: 12-hour shifts with every other weekend coverage; 2:1 patient ratio; floating requiredHighlights:

• Work in a fast-paced ICU environment with a manageable 2-3:1 patient ratio across all shifts
• 12 hours of comprehensive orientation to support your success
• Epic charting system experience required – leverage your existing EMR knowledge
• Interdisciplinary team support including respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, radiology, and social services
• Adult patient population in a 9-bed unit with average daily census of 7 patients
• First-time travelers may be considered with appropriate qualifications

Requirements:

• Active New York RN license required in hand prior to submission
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS (required)
• Epic charting system experience is mandatory
• Previous charge nurse experience highly preferred
• Must reside outside 75-mile radius from facility location
• Clinical skills including arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care, continuous IV sedation and paralytics, vasoactive and cardiac drip titration, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and procedural sedation monitoring
• Additional skills: IV insertion and maintenance, phlebotomy, PICC line management, emergency medications, infection prevention, and isolation precautions
• Limited pre-approved time off available (maximum 10 days)
