Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing program. A valid Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided is required. Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications are mandatory. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field. Two years of recent ICU nursing experience is preferred. NIH Stroke Scale Certificate and CCRN certification are preferred as well. Experience with dialysis, SLED, or equivalent is also desirable.
