Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting across multiple campuses as part of a true float pool assignment
  • Rotate between day and night shifts (7:00-19:30 and 19:00-7:30) based on scheduling needs
  • Float to different campus locations as scheduled; travelers are notified of their assigned campus at least 2 hours prior to shift start
  • Participate in weekend rotation as required
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-acuity critical care
Required Qualifications
  • Active California RN License (must be verifiable via Nursys, uploaded within the last 2 weeks)
  • BLS certification - American Heart Association (AHA) or ARC
  • ACLS certification - AHA or ARC
  • NIHSS certification
  • Minimum 4 years of ICU experience required
  • Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (local candidates may be accepted at a local rate)
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience working in a float pool or multi-campus environment
  • Familiarity with high-acuity critical care patient populations
  • Ability to adapt quickly to varying unit environments and team dynamics
