Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting as part of a true full float pool, rotating across multiple campuses as scheduled
- Adapt to varying shift assignments across campuses, with notification provided approximately 2 hours prior to shift start
- Perform comprehensive ICU nursing assessments and interventions in alignment with unit protocols and patient acuity
- Participate in weekend rotation as required by scheduling needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across campuses to ensure continuity and quality of patient care
Required Qualifications- Active California RN License (must be verified via Nursys within the last 2 weeks)
- BLS certification required (AHA only)
- ACLS certification required (AHA or ARC)
- NIHSS certification required
- Minimum 4 years of ICU experience required
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates may be considered at a local rate
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience floating across multiple units or campuses within a health system
- Familiarity with high-acuity ICU patient populations in a large urban hospital environment
- Ability to adapt quickly to varying team dynamics and unit workflows across locations
