Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Peoria, IL. This role is suited for individuals with a strong background in cardiovascular ICU care, managing patients post open heart surgeries and various cardiovascular procedures. The work environment is fast-paced and requires excellent critical thinking and strip interpretation skills.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit- Provide comprehensive care to post-heart surgical and cardiovascular procedure patients
- Manage critical care devices including IABPs, Impellas, and ECMO
- Titrate multiple drips such as dopamine, dobutamine, and propofol
- Interpret and respond to telemetry readings and strip analysis
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory therapists and PCTs
- Adhere to protocols and utilize strong assessment and communication skills
Requirements of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit- Active RN license
- BLS certification (AHA required), ACLS preferred
- Minimum of 2 years CVICU experience
- Effective critical thinking and organizational skills
