- **Location:** Overland Park, Kansas (Leawood area)
- **Unit Name:** Cardiovascular Care Unit
- **Shift:** 7 PM - 7 AM
- **Guaranteed Hours:** 48 hours preferred
- **Start Date:** December 14
**Unit Profile:**
- **Number of Beds:** 28
- **Patient Ratios:** 4-5:1
- **Patient Focus:** Acute cardiac patients (e.g., cath lab patients, strokes) and PCU overflow
- **Team Environment:** Strong emphasis on teamwork with support from charge nurses and tech staff
- **Safety and Quality:** Committed to high standards in documentation compliance and infection control
- **Documentation System:** Meditech - EBCD
- **Floating Policy:** Opportunity to float to like units (Ortho/Neuro/CCU/CDU/SSU/Obs/Rehab)
- **Patient Experience:** Daily Nurse Leader Rounds to ensure care excellence and personalize patient interactions
**Hiring Profile:**
- **Required Skills:**
- ACLS
- BLS
- Basic Dysrhythmia
- NIH Certification
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- **Preferred Experience:** Cardiac experience

- Royal blue scrub tops
- Royal blue or black pants
- Grey, white, black, or royal blue undershirt
