Description:
Position in Critical Care Nursing.
Staffing ratios are 1:2.
First-time travelers are accepted.
Weekend work is required every other weekend.
No on-call duties are required.
Floating within the scope to meet facility needs is expected.
The unit provides a variety of medical, surgical, and cardiac ICU patients.
It is a critical care unit focusing on medical, surgical, and cardiac critical care.
Daily census is approximately 18 patients.
Patient age group includes adults.
Patient ratios are consistent at 2:1 for days and nights.
Support services include IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Transportation.
