Must-Have: Prior charge experience preferred.
Charting system experience required.
Description:
HIGH LEVEL PCU RNs or ICU RNs needed.
Will support a newly opened PCU, and ICU patients are anticipated.
Will care for medical-surgical/telemetry, PCU, and/or critical care patients.
May float to these areas if low census.
Medical-surgical/telemetry ratios are 6:1; Critical Care ratios are 2:1.
Must start no later than specified date.
COVID-19 vaccine is not required.
Flu vaccine is required; medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed.
Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Daily census is approximately 8 patients.
Unit designed as a universal suite, meaning each room can function as telemetry, PCU, or critical care based on diagnosis.
Patient diagnoses may include Afib RVR, TAVR, post PCI, DKA, COPD/Asthma exacerbations, renal failure, and HF management.
Special equipment includes continuous bedside monitoring and arterial lines.
Travelers will be expected to float to critical care or medical-surgical/telemetry units as needed.
Two pre-approved time off requests during the duration of the assignment are allowed.
