Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for a Cardio Thoracic ICU position. Candidates will care for step-down patients due to a universal bed model. Schedule includes every other weekend, floating, and holidays. Patient ratios typically range from 1:1 to 1:2. Candidates must demonstrate strong neuro experience related to post-brain surgery care. Responsibilities include managing cardiac drips and vasoactive drips, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and care of ventilated patients. Experience with post-cardiac surgery care and acute stroke management is essential. Infection prevention and isolation precautions are critical components of this role. Candidates must possess skills in IV management and monitoring of pulmonary artery lines. A complete review of the candidate’s history is required prior to submission.
