Schedule / Job TypeContract | 20 Weeks | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts | Expected 36 Hours/Week | Every Other Weekend Required | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Burn Intensive Care Unit setting, delivering high-acuity nursing interventions to critically ill burn patients
- Follow and apply a nurse-driven burn resuscitation protocol, including orientation to facility-specific approaches based on FFP and albumin availability
- Monitor and manage ICU-level patients throughout night shifts, ensuring timely assessment, documentation, and intervention
- Float to other units as needed, including other ICUs, PCU, MedSurg/Tele, and ED Boarding
- Participate in holiday coverage on an as-needed basis
Required Qualifications- Active Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience
- New graduates are not eligible for this position
- No more than 7 days of requested time off (RTO) during the contract period
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior burn care or Burn ICU experience is a plus, though not required
- Comfort and flexibility with floating across multiple care settings, including PCU, MedSurg/Tele, and ED environments
