Description:
The ICU Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients.
This role involves managing patients with multi-system organ failure and administer complex therapies.
The nurse will be expected to float to various units as needed.
Patient ratios will typically be 1:2 during shifts.
The unit predominantly cares for heavy medical ICU cases, along with some surgical patients.
An active Cath Lab operates 24/7, and nurses should adapt to the fast-paced environment.
Requirements include flexibility for weekend shifts and working on major holidays.
Candidates should demonstrate strong clinical skills and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Continuous education and adherence to infection control protocols are critical to ensure patient safety.
This position is full-time with potential for additional shifts based on unit needs.
