Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of three years of critical care experience preferred. Strong candidates with less experience may be considered. License: Active RN license in hand at the time of submission; no exceptions. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS). Must-Have: Strong neuro critical care experience. Proficiency in Epic charting system. Ventilator management skills. IV drip titration experience. Telemetry monitoring expertise. Conscious sedation knowledge. Dysrhythmia recognition and management skills. Emergency response and critical care management experience. Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Intensive Care. The position requires the ability to float to various units as needed, including Stepdown Unit and Emergency Department. Candidates must be willing to work every other weekend and holidays as required by the contract. Patient ratios in the ICU typically are 1:2 or 2:3. Candidates should have strong neuro experience, including post-neurosurgical, EVD management, and stroke patient care. Experience with ventilators, IV drip titration, and telemetry monitoring is necessary. Successful applicants will demonstrate expertise in conscious sedation and emergency management. Travel experience is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates must have no prior license or background hits to be considered.
