Schedule: Night shift in Long-Term Acute Care ICU setting. 36 or 48 hours per week available. 13 to 26 week assignments available. Weekend coverage required with rotating call support.
Highlights:
- Specialized 12-bed ICU within a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) hospital, with opportunity to support 35-bed Med-Surg unit
- Patient population includes ventilator weaning, complex wound care, spinal cord injury, trach/PEG management, and neurological conditions
- Epic EMR system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Radiology
- Daily census of 35 patients across adult and geriatric age groups
- Call rotation shared among 6 to 8 team members for evenings and weekends
- Pre-assignment modules are compensated (up to 16 hours)
Requirements:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
- Neurological experience required
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
- LTAC experience strongly preferred
- Previous charge experience preferred
- Flu vaccination required (no exemptions); COVID-19 vaccination not required
- Must reside at least 100 miles from all system facilities (distance requirements may vary based on shift and specialty)
