Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Travel

• Support the critical care service line
• Float within the critical care service line including Medical Stepdown, Surgical Stepdown, Cardiothoracic Stepdown
• Work with ventilators, endotracheal tubes, and tracheostomy
• Care for immediate post-surgical patients, trauma, Neurosurgery, neuro intervention
• Manage post-cardiac cath, DKA, cardiac drips, sedation titration
• Handle arterial lines, swan Ganz catheter, transvenous pacing wire
• Monitor post structural heart patients, telemetry, lab interpretation
• Exhibit critical thinking and time management skills

Requirements of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Travel

• Valid NYS RN License
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• Preferably 3+ years of experience
