Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,682 per week in Petoskey, MI

Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse – Michigan

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Northern Michigan

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Full-time with every other weekend requirement; call coverage possible

Highlights:

• Provide critical care to unstable patients requiring 24/7 intensive monitoring and intervention
• Manage life-support equipment including ventilators and complex IV drips while interpreting vital signs
• Perform comprehensive assessments and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams
• Float to similar units as needed to support patient care needs
• Holiday pay applies from 7 PM the evening before through 7 PM of the holiday
• Contract nursing role with structured attendance expectations to ensure continuity of patient care

Requirements:

• Active Michigan RN license (LARA and Nursys verification required)
• Minimum 1+ year of dedicated ICU experience (float experience does not qualify)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• EKG interpretation experience required
• Completed skills checklist within one year of application
• Willingness to float to similar critical care units
• Preferred: Experience with Neuro, CVICU, Trauma, ventilator management, CRRT, and balloon pumps
