Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, ICU/Coronary Care Unit – Kansas

Start Date: September 7, 2026

Location: Wichita, Kansas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio in a 26-bed Coronary Care Unit

Highlights:
  • Work in a specialized Coronary Care Unit with advanced cardiac interventions including heart catheterizations, balloon pumps, CRRT, therapeutic hypothermia, and cardioversion
  • Collaborative team environment with 13 RNs, 1 Charge Nurse, and dedicated Patient Care Technician support on night shift
  • Meditech EMR system utilized for documentation and workflow
  • Exposure to critical cardiac cases and cutting-edge cardiac care technology
  • Travel nursing assignment offering professional growth in a large acute care facility
Requirements:
  • Active RN license in Kansas or eligible for licensure
  • Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience required
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
  • Prior Meditech experience preferred
  • Previous experience in large facility ICU settings preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with a positive, driven, and engaged attitude
