Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse – New York
Start Date: November 23, 2026
Location: Albany, New York
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 48 hours per week; shift details to be discussed with qualified candidates
Highlights:
- Epic EMR system utilized throughout the facility
- Float position across multiple ICU settings including Neuro/Trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, Progressive Critical Care Unit (PCCU), and ICU patients in ED and PACU
- Level I Trauma Center environment providing high-acuity critical care experience
- Navy blue scrubs required as part of professional dress code
- Competency assessment required within 24 hours of submission
- Previous travel nursing experience required for this assignment
Requirements:
- Active New York State RN license or ability to obtain (certain local candidates may be ineligible)
- Epic EMR experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience mandatory
- Level I Trauma Center experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated competency and comfort level caring for critical care patients across multiple ICU specialties
- Experience floating to a variety of ICU environments highly desired
- Must be able to complete competency testing within 24 hours of application
