Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,639 per week in Mission Hills, CA

The nurse will work with patients experiencing traumatic injuries including motor vehicle accidents and orthopedic cases.

Candidates will work with a variety of patient populations including cardiovascular, multi-trauma, and stroke patients. The unit is a thrombectomy-capable stroke center, capable of handling high acuity neuro patients. Facilities include surgical care, CABG, valve procedures, CRRT, and management of cases involving sepsis. The ICU also accommodates overflow beds. The nurse will work with patients experiencing traumatic injuries including motor vehicle accidents and orthopedic cases. Expected skills include managing ventilated patients, central lines, and IV sedation. Travelers must be comfortable performing interventions like phlebotomy and EKG interpretation. Travelers are part of a supportive and collaborative team within a fast-paced environment. All travelers should be prepared to float among different units as needed.
