Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse – North Dakota
Start Date: October 26, 2026
Location: Fargo, North Dakota
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Day/Night rotating shifts (8-hour and 12-hour shifts, with occasional 4-hour shifts). Every other weekend and every other holiday required. No call required. Assignment location determined daily prior to shift start.
Highlights:
- Critical care float position across multiple ICU departments with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:2 to 1:4
- Diverse case mix including trauma, neuro, cardiac, CT surgery, medical, and surgical critically ill patients
- 32-hour structured orientation program covering hospital systems and multiple critical care units
- Epic EMR system with advanced monitoring and support technology including IABP, EVD, and Impella
- Comprehensive critical care experience managing vasopressors, sedatives, analgesics, and titratable drips
- Opportunity to assist with bedside procedures including RSI, EVD placement, tracheostomy, and line placement
Requirements:
- Current RN license (North Dakota or Compact State)
- Minimum 2 years ICU RN experience in a 250+ bed facility
- Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center experience required
- Demonstrated experience titrating vasopressor drips (must be documented on resume or skills checklist)
- Epic charting experience required
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
- ACLS Certification (American Heart Association)
- NIHSS Certification
- Ability to independently manage critically ill patients
- Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility
