We are seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) to join a hospital - 6 bed mosu/icu in Globe, AZ. In this role, you will provide high-acuity nursing care to critically ill patients, utilizing advanced clinical skills and evidence-based practices to promote optimal patient outcomes. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact as part of a dedicated critical care team.
Key Responsibilities
• Assess, monitor, and manage critically ill patients requiring complex, high-acuity nursing interventions
• Initiate and titrate vasoactive drips, sedation, and analgesic infusions per physician orders and established protocols
• Manage patients on mechanical ventilation, including ventilator weaning and airway maintenance
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including physicians, respiratory therapists, and pharmacists to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Perform hemodynamic monitoring using arterial lines, central venous catheters, and pulmonary artery catheters
• Recognize and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition, initiating emergency interventions as needed
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, procedures, and care plans to support informed decision-making
✅ Requirements
• Active AZ or Compact RN license
• ACLS, BLS/BCLS, PALS, Flu Vaccine certifications
• 3+ years of Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) experience
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN) from an accredited program
Pay
Pay range: $2,628 to $2,743 per week.
Travel ICU/Critical Care RN package: up to $2,743/week (36 hours) = $41/hour taxable + up to $1,267/week in travel reimbursements if eligible under IRS tax-home and expense rules.
Local package: $73/hour fully taxable ($2,628/week for 36 hours).
Overtime paid in accordance with applicable wage-and-hour laws and the assignment agreement. Actual compensation varies based on hours worked, assignment terms and travel reimbursement eligibility.
