Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 12-hour shifts | 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM | Expected 36 hours/week | Every other weekend required | Holidays as needed
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit setting during night shift hours
- Monitor and assess critically ill patients, responding promptly to changes in condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Float to PCU, MedSurg/Telemetry, and ED Boarding units as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
Required Qualifications- Active Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience
- New graduates are not eligible for this position
- No more than 7 days of requested time off (RTO) during the contract period
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience floating to PCU, MedSurg/Telemetry, or Emergency Department settings
- Familiarity with critically ill patient populations and advanced monitoring equipment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced acute care environment
