Job Opportunity – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse – New York

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: New York

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM. Block scheduling may be available but not guaranteed. Floating to other units as needed (excluding Behavioral Health and Emergency Department).

Highlights:
  • 42-bed ICU with diverse patient populations including Neuro/Med (22 beds), CTICU (6 beds), and Surgical/Trauma (14 beds)
  • Common diagnoses include strokes, sepsis, respiratory failure, cardiovascular surgery, cardiogenic shock, trauma, and major post-operative cases
  • Specialty equipment experience required: CRRT (Prismaflex), IABP, ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, and therapeutic temperature management (Arctic Sun)
  • EPIC EMR system utilized facility-wide
  • Cardiac/heart experience highly preferred and prioritized during candidate review
  • Professional development opportunities in critical care specialties
Requirements:
  • Active New York RN license (verification through Nursys required)
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required; 4-5 years preferred
  • Experience in ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, Medical-Surgical ICU, or Neuro ICU
  • Documented travel nursing experience required
  • Current AHA ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
  • Proficiency with CRRT and Prismaflex equipment required
  • EPIC EMR experience required
  • Valid driver's license
