Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse – New York

Schedule: Night shift, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM. 42-bed critical care unit with specialized pods including Neuro/Medical ICU (22 beds), CTICU (6 beds), and Surgical/Trauma ICU (14 beds).
Highlights:
- Diverse critical care experience across multiple ICU specialties including cardiovascular, neuro, surgical, and trauma patient populations
- Work with advanced specialty equipment including IABP, CRRT (Prisma and NxStage), ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, and TTM (Arctic Sun)
- EPIC EMR system in place for streamlined documentation and care coordination
- Exposure to complex patient cases including strokes, sepsis, cardiogenic shock, post-STEMI, trauma, and major post-operative surgical patients
- Opportunity to support cardiovascular surgical patients and utilize cardiac critical care skills
- Floating to multiple critical care units as needed (excluding Behavioral Health and ER)
Requirements:
- Active New York RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience (ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, Medical/Surgical ICU, or Neuro ICU); 4-5 years preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Current AHA ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Demonstrated experience with CRRT and Prismaflex dialysis systems
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Cardiac/heart experience highly preferred and prioritized
