Collects data relevant to the patient’s condition and reports critical values to the physician in a timely manner. Assesses appropriate lab and diagnostic data. Documents findings of physical assessment and identifies abnormal findings. Develops a plan of care based on patient needs. Advocates on behalf of the patient and their family. Performs interventions according to patient needs and hospital policy. Evaluates patient outcomes in relation to goals. Adheres to all safety guidelines and exercises utmost care when interacting with patients. Demonstrates a professional demeanor in interactions with patients, families, peers, and staff, and maintains open communication with nursing management. Completes other duties as deemed appropriate by management. Must be able to float to various units as required.
