Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit

• Manage patients with ventilators, titratable drips, and substance abuse withdrawal
• Care for cardiac, respiratory, neuro, and GI system patients, including post-op
• Perform special procedures like A-lines, central lines, and intubations
• Administer and monitor emergency medications
• Conduct patient assessments and manage dysrhythmias

Requirements of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit

• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
• EPIC charting experience required
• Must hold a valid NY state license
• Skills in managing ICU protocols, including ventilation and sedation
